Journal of Public Administration and PolicyHome
Aims and Scope
Public Administration & Policy (PAP) is an academic journal published by the Department of Public Administration and Policy at National Taipei University since 1968. From 1968 to 1998, the journal was issued annually under the title Public Administration (PA). In 1999, it was renamed Public Administration & Policy, and in 2001, it transitioned to a biannual publication schedule. In recognition of its academic rigor and integrity, PAP has been listed as a TSSCI Core Journal by Taiwan's National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) since 2007. The journal has also received multiple subsidies from the NSTC to promote open access and digital dissemination, further attesting to its influence in the field of public administration. To support the wider distribution and use of scientific knowledge, PAP has become a member of Taiwan Open Access Journals (TOAJ), sponsored by the NSTC. All published articles are freely accessible through the TOAJ platform, in addition to the journal's official website.
